Review: Benefit To Go Beauty Bestsellers

Standard

Review Time! I got this in my haul from Sephora and decided it was time to review it. This comes with Some Kinda Gorgeous “foundation faker”, That Gal “brightening face primer, High Beam liquid highlighter, and Posetint lip and cheek stain. First of all let me just say that these products are very natural looking so it may be hard to see them.

Some Kinda Gorgeous: This is supposed to feel like a tinted moisturizer and look like foundation. It doesn’t do either. I really don’t like this product because it is so hard to blend on your face. It dries entirely too fast making it impossible to blend. It has little to none coverage as well. Cute packaging though!

That Gal: This is a face primer which you can put under your foundation or wear alone. It comes out pink but when blended it gives a subtle shimmer. There was nothing special about this. Nothing interesting except the packaging which is sooo cute!

High Beam: I like this one! Not a lot but I like it. It’s a liquid hilighter thats kind of a silvery pink. Very pretty on your cheekbones.

Posetint: This is probably my favorite thing in this box. Its a gel based natural pink stain. It looks amazing on both your cheeks, and your lips.

So overall this little set was pretty good. I didnt like the Some Kinda Gorgeous or That Gal but the rest was fine. And for $10 that’s not bad at all

First I went to Bath and Body Works. I got two antibacterial hand lotions in (my favorites!) Fresh Lemon and Fresh Market Apple. I also got a travel size body mist in Cherry Blossom but I don’t think I like it. Total Cost: $5. The hand lotions were 2 for $5 and I had a coupon to the body mist was free!

Then I went to Sephora. I picked up the Benefit to go Beauty Bestsellers. I had my eye on this on their website, but it was limited edition so they took it away. I just found this lying around in the Benefit section so I got it. It’s adorable! Hopefully I will do a review on this soon. Total Cost:$10

My Skincare Routine!!!

Standard

Hey ya’ll! Today I decided to post my skincare routine! YAY!

My cleanser and moisturizer are the Mary Kay Velocity facial clenser and lightweight moisturizer. These smell just like the Velocity perfume which is in the picture and smells amazing!

I also use a toner but I left it at a friends house so it’s not gonna do us anygood there. I really like these Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Facial Clensing Pads. This is probably my fourth tub of these and their almost gone! Tea tree oil is supposed to help with your complexion and acne and I’m happy to say these do! I get mine at Trader Joe’s.

This brings us to exfoliating! Everyone should exfoliate 2-3 times a week to get rid of the dead skin build up. My all time favorite exfoliator is the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Facial Scrub. I also just recently tried the Lush Ocean Salt scrub and liked it too!

For my acne I like to use these two products: Clean and Clear Advantage Mark Treatment, and Clearasil Vanashing Acne Cream. I perfer Clearasil over Clean and Clear just because it gets the job done a little bit better but their both still good.

That concludes my skincare routine! I also wanted to show you what I got from Bath and Body Works today: Wallflowers!!! I am probably too excited about these but they were on sale for 6$ each and so I got some. I got Autum Apple (burning in my room right now!), Creamy Pumpkin, and Caramel Apple. They smell soooo good!

Review: Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain- Frenzy

Standard

Hey Katie, guess what, I’m posting!  Today I have a review for you on Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain in frenzy. I know I haven’t been posting lately but life happens ladies and gentlebeans. Anyways, the lipstain comes with a lipstain(duh) and a balm. I’m just gonna get straight to the point here and review it.

I like putting a balm on before and after I use the lipstain so my lips don’t get dry. I found this balm to be more on the glossy/slippery side though it is oderless for those of you who don’t like smells in your lip products. Every time I put the balm back into its little cap thingy; it smeared on the cap because it was so slippery and you could’nt roll it down. What you see is what you get is what I mean, you cant twist it up or down. For the lipstain, I found it works better with a different balm on the bottom as it tends to be less slippery with the one it comes with. I like the color although it doesn’t look anything like the packaging on my lips, it looks like more of a muted cherry red color. Over all this product was okay. Nothing special; not a must have.
